Brought in a watch for battery replacement. They said the watch was broken. I took it to another jewelry store. They put in the battery. No issues. The people at Gallagher Jewelers really let me down. That level of incompetence makes me wonder if they even put a battery in the watch at all.

Have used them several times now, for jewelry repairs. Quick and reasonable, with excellent customer service.
$50 for a replacement battery and putting a link back into my watch band seems like a lot of money. My own fault for not asking what they charge but Yikes!!!
