I would highly recommend Dr. Quon to my friends and family as an experienced Gastroenterologist. He has great knowledge of his specialty and has a wonderful bedside manner. He's extremely down to earth, personable, and listened to all my concerns and questions I had before my procedure. I felt comfortable and his office staff is very competent and accommodating.
This doctor is truly an outstanding professional with knowledge and experience coupled with a sincere caring for his patients. He sets the gold standard for his specialty. I trust his skills without any hesitation
I had colonoscopy with Dr. Quonset and had an excellent experience. His staff is top notch and made my comfort my top priority. The procedure was pain free and thorough. After the procedure Dr Quon immediately went over the results with me after my brief recovery. I would recommend Dr Quon if you are in need of a colonoscopy.
He misdiagnosed my stage 3 b cancer when it was a stage 2 I am lucky that I found a doctor six months later who thru a second colonoscopy found a 4 centimeter tumor. I had to endure 2 major surgeries because of his misdiagnosis.
Business response:
This is not a legitimate review. I took care of Michele Smith in April 2002 (14 years ago) and I did a colonoscopy on her on 4/17/2002 for rectal bleeding. She was found to have hemorrhoids and biopsies of her rectum did not show any rectal cancer. I went to trial in the Superior Court of California in the County of Los Angeles, case number PCO32896 and was found by a court of 12 jurors not be negligent in the medical diagnosis, care and treatment of plaintiff, Michele Smith.
I have been a patient of Dr. Quon for close to 15 years. And while his office has always been terribly disorganized causing wait times of 1-2 hours regularly, his move to UCLA has only made the bad worse. It takes anywhere for 5-10 minutes on hold to talk to an actual person. I have been trying to get a simple prescription refill for over a week. Called 3x. I finally went to my GP Dr. to get a short term supply until I can get to a new interal med doctor. STAY AWAY from this guy !
Michael G. Quon, MD has a 4 star rating with 21 reviews.
