He made very derogatory comments about me when I was on the operating table when he thought that I was out under anesthesia. During surgery I told him that I could hear him and he ignore me. The post-op nurses were humiliated by his pathetic behavior.
Arrogance in a physician is pretty common w/ American doctors, but that doesn't make it acceptable. This one made very inappropriate comments to my wife when I was not presence. He actually stated that he expected me to be a problem & that he felt sorry for her. All I did was ask questions ABOUT THE PROPOSED HERNIA SURGERY. I wasn't submissive enough. He did not follow-up w/ me & when I called, he acted very put out. Failed to warn me RE: alternatives & bad outcomes
