I would put no stars if possible & the reason is that this "Dr." was very rude. My daughter had her 1st visit w/him today. She always expects me 2 go 2 her appts. with her because shes a quiet, nervous person. I prefer her 2 go herself but she insists & what I realized is that if I dont go she doesnt have the ability to relay what the Dr tells her, which leaves her upset. Dr. Rome and his team are wonderful. I'm always treated with kindness and respect. During my heart procedure, the team was amazing. I was so well cared for. Halfway through the procedure, Dr. Rome came to my face and told me he was done mapping and they were going to start doing the ablation. He told me I was doing great. The nurse even put my phone next to my head and played my tibetan relaxation music. They truly made a stressful time a whole lot easier.
You can not talk to anyone at his office about anything. They say make an appointmint and we ca n discuss this. The date of the next availible appointment will be three months from today is this ok? NO
Not only did he perform an excellent procedure on my heart, I found Dr. Momah to be very willing to answer all my questions and explain all I needed to know about temporary meds he had prescribed, upcoming eye surgery I need, and all the care I need to take at home and for how long. In my experience he was very proficient.
Dr. Rome is knowledgeable,professional, and personable. He took ample time to listen to my health history, gave me his recommendations, and genuinely wanted to listen to any questions I may have hard. The best doctors appointment I've had in years.
So far so good clinically.... Not a very caring MD from what I've experienced. Dr Momah is very dry and matter of fact. I felt like I was dealing with someone who is very smart and good at his job but not really someone who wants to sit down and connect with who he is talking too. His office and Nursing staff had difficulty getting me work release papers in a timely manner which at this point might cause me trouble.
Great Doctor! I would trust him with my life...in fact, I have!
He patiently answers all questions and convincingly predicts surgical outcomes. His vast experience with successful ablations is comforting to new patients. Post operative care and visits are outstanding.
Dr M seems extremely knowledgable. I was a bit disappointed in the short time our appointment went. I left somewhat bewildered - first experience w heart issue - & had to rely on the web for more in depth information.
