Babies Babies and Children are definately Rainbow's business. This is the place you want to take your children for treatment if they are having problems. The doctors and nurses are fantastic, up to date equipment and knowledge. Nurse to patient ratio is one nurse to one or two patients. Parents can stay in the room comfortably. This is a facility that I highly reccommend.
Definately a wonderful hospital for children Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital is a wonderful hospital. This is the hospital that many children are taken to that have very serious health problems. The doctors and nurses are great, and the parents can stay in the rooms overnight with their children. If a child is very ill I really cannot think of a better hospital to take them to. I highly recommend this hospital
A Physician You CanTrust Dr. Pidoux is an "old school" physician/cardiologist. Not only is he very up to date technically, both as a general interest and cardiologist, I believe he truly enjoys what he does, and cares deeply about people. Although he specializes in cardiology (I believe he is a FACC--fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he is also a well rounded general internist. Rude and confused staff I tried several times to schedule an EKG as ordered by my doctor. The office had me call my doctor and send her chart notes. They then called my doctor and confirmed receipt of the order and said they don't take new patients and that I needed to go to Providence. I called asking for clarification, and a very rude receptionist told me that I didn't know where I was getting my information, they take new patients, and that I have to have my doctor send her chart notes. wow! i am very impressed with the service at timpanogos hospital! the staff are very helpfull and very friendly. we were only there for my sister but even still the services were great! thank you timanogos!
ER SLOW AND UNHELPFUL I WENT TO THE ER FOR MY DAUGHTER. SHE COULDN'T BREATHE IT TOOK THEM FOREVER BEFORE I ACTUALLY TALKED TO SOMEONE AND THEN IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO GET TO HELP HER TO START BREATHING TO ME IT'S SCARY WHEN YOUR CHILD CAN'T BREATH. ALSO THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME BACK IN 15 MIN TO CHECK ON HER AND IF SHE WAS DOING FINE WE COULD LEAVE 45 MIN. LATER I WENT AND ASKED THE LADIES OUT FRON IF THEY KNEW HOW MUCH LONGER IT WOULD BE THEY WEREN'T VERY HELPFUL AND WE HAD BEEN THERE FOR 3 HOURS SO I ASKED IF MY 2 YR OLD ... read more
Satisfactory I have had friends deliver at this hospital and 2 sisters in laws deliver here and not one has had a good experience. They have all had to share a room with someone else which is not what you want to do right after you have just had a baby. They definatley would not reccomend.
If you are having a baby, go elsewhere When I delivered my son at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, I hated the experience. I had to share a room (they have since added on, so this may be different) and the nurses, for the most part, were horrible. I could not get anyone to help me for at least 10-15 minutes every time I called. I felt very much like just another patient that they were trying to get rid of.
NEVER AGAIN!!! Never return! I went for outpatient prenatal labs. They were not sent to my doctors office until requested 3 weeks later. At that point if something had been wrong it was too late. I filed a complaint with the hospital and they denied any responsibility whatsoever. They argued with me on the phone saying they gave me a prompt pay discount and I should be grateful and it is my doctors fault because they didn't request them. I than called my dr.
