I saw Dr Mike for chronic ankle pain after an injury I had in college. I had seen many docs before him for the same issue and I got the impression that they thought I was drug seeking which I wasn't. I just wanted the pain to go away. Dr Mike listened to me, believed my story and fixed the issue in March 1995 he fused my right ankle and the pain was gone after a full recovery.
very thorough and considerate, knows his stuff and does whats best for the patient at all times. very easy to talk too
I have been going to Dr Byrnes for many years and I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable and caring. If I could, I would rate him 100 stars.
Do not recommend. Doctor spent a good deal of time talking about the cost of operating, talking condescendingly about people on Medicaid and Medicare, and his support for the repeal of the Affordible Care Act. Doctor talked over me, and at times he told me my opinions on the above were wrong, and told me I should be happy with whatever care I get because there's no incentives for doctors to work hard anymore. These were the most uncomfortable two appointments in my life.
Dr. Byrnes has taken care of our familys feet for about 20 years; everything from warts to ingrown nails to broken bones. His care is professional and personal.
Very kind man. Takes care of your problem, excellent bedside manner, and extremely caring to the elderly patient.
