Dr Michael Bowen is amazing! I broke my fibula and tore my ligaments on Feb 6th 2024, the Tuesday before my Ski Trip. He suggested surgery because he was confident there was 85% chance I had damaged everything. He was right. Nine months ago, our son was injured while playing a sport he truly loves. At the time, our biggest concern was whether he’d ever be able to play again. Dr.Bowen preformed a complete ankle fusion on my right ankle. Before surgery I was in constant pain with a pain level at a 10. After a year the pain level is down to a 1. I am able to walk long distances with minor pain elevation. With all my past experiences surgeries, this is by gar the best turn around. As far as I am concerned Dr.Bowen worked miracles with my ankle. In layman terms, he made chicken salad out of chicken shit with my ankle. To say I would recommend Dr. Bowen to anyone who has experienced a torn Achilles or needs a Brostrom ankle ligament repair (or both at the same time) would be an understatement of epic proportion. This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had with a A doctor of any kind. He seemed truly concerned about my pain And within five minutes knew that the problem wasn’t stemming from where the pain was coming from that it was something else entirely Amazing bedside manner and I am now walking around today with absolutely no pain. If only all doctors were as Efficient and professional as Dr. Bowen This world would be a better place
