Nice person, but office disorganized. Saw him twice. In the end, he seemed more interested in my money than my health care. His office "lost" or "misplaced" paperwork twice and left me waiting for medication for months. And if you call with an "urgent" situation or question, be aware they will only get back to you when it's convenient to them. They seldom answer their phones and their voicemail says that leaving multiple messages will result in a delay of returning your call, so prepared to wait
He takes his time with patients and really listens to you. He won’t put you on meds you don’t need. Plus he is a medical marijuana doctor and I have gone from having several ER visits for migraines to none, yes none, in the last year and a half. He’s like family.
I travel from Milton, FL to see Dr. Tavernaris in Mary Esther, FL and wouldn't have any other Primary Care Doctor. He is personable, caring and is truly concerned not only about his patients as patients but also as human beings who have daily lives to lead. He is probably the best Doctor I have seen in years and recommend him highly.
He takes the time to look at the full picture for your problem. He doesn't just get you in and out like many doctors now a days. He is great!!
Dr Tavernaris is very friendly, knowledgable , compassionate and frank. His bedside manner is what I expect from my doctor. I highly recommend him.
