One star for being a doctor and zero for being human. Granted we had personality conflicts but his behavior to me was vindictive. After I left his practice he refused to fwd my medical records and didn't untill the last day he was legally required to. He seemed medically qualified but his personality was odd.
I've been seeing Dr. Kan for close to 20 years. He is a great doctor who actually listens to you and spends the time to figure out the best treatment. He is diligent and very competent. I would recommend him in a heart-beat (pun intended).
Without getting into great detail- Inappropriate administration of IV meds led to overdose that rendered patient incapacitated. Inappropriate behavior towards family. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DOCTOR IF HE IS A HOSPITALIST- ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE
Love Kan. Been with him for 25 years at least. I've told him when he retires I will be showing up on his doorstep for advice.
Great depth of knowledge. I have been seeing him for 30 years.
