Although Dr. Block at first appeared knowledgeable and personable, his home visits and wound care of my bedridden 97 year old mother turned out to be inadequate.. He had a nursing service see my mother who started out with a simple bedsore. The nurse recommended bringing in a wound care specialist, but Dr. Block twice refused to go along with that recommendation. By the time we had another doc send in a specialist a very large abscess had developed. This could have been avoided.
I am reviewing a comment that was posted about Dr Block. I strongly disagree. I have had many opportunities to evaluate his character. I have had a complete opposite experience. Furthermore he saved my moms life and made a great impact, in the care of my dad. I would highly recommend him to all patients that seek a compassionate and highly skilled geriatric physician.
