I carry around 5 pairs of glasses and no one has ever been able to get my prescription right. I had had progressives in the early 2000s but they didn't work for me. The technology is so much better now. Also, He realizes that some people are very sensitive about the axis of their lenses as am I. The government gives labs a 2 point in either direction as in range. He personally calls the lab and says that's not good enough for this patient. Dr De Rubeis is an exceptional eye doctor. With his background in eye medicine, he is superior to most eye doctors. My husband and eye have been seeing him for 15 years, and he is thorough and utilizes the latest technologies in his practice. We highly recommend he become your yearly eye doctor.
He is a wonderful doctor who really knows his stuff. His staff is lacking in some areas but he is a great doctor. Highly recommend seeing him for any eye care issues.
