As a Uro-Oncologist/Radiation Oncologist, my over-riding concern is to cure patients having prostate cancer (and select other sites) while minimizing side effects. Unparalleled level of expertise. His credentials are beyond impressive. He literally wrote the book on Dart and Brachy therapy. Very impressed with his compassion in light of his pedigree. Dr. Dattoli and his entire staff are exceptional when it comes to patient experience! I felt right at home, well informed, and truly heard throughout every step of my prostate cancer treatment and cure. Sure, there may be a lot of steps and time to dedicate, but these people are here day in and day out helping 30+ other people in the exact same situation. Dr Dattoli has taken high tech to a new level and this is a function of his high level of intelligence as he himself, along with some brilliant physicists developed many of today's cutting edge technologies. He is unparallelled in his approach to treating prostate ca. You cannot find this level of technologies AND experience anywhere else including the largest Universities. I traveled over 2000 mi and I'm forever grateful being rid of a bad cancer while enjoying completely normal body function.
Dr. Dattoli was thorough and pleasant. I subsequently had an awful experience with the billing office. They charged me $610 for the use of the room for an office visit. This was in addition to the few hundred I paid the physician. My insurance would not cover it and Moffitt is going after me for the entire amount with not even a consideration of a discount for self-pay. This is a despicable way to treat a cancer patient!
Living in Europe and having prostate cancer is not a good especially when you're in your early 50's. After exhaustive research I found Dr Michael Dattoli to be brilliant, compassionate and his Cancer Center to be light years ahead of other World Class Centers.Just returned from Sarasota and given my 5 year clean bill of health which is a far cry what others at other Centers world-wide had expected as I had a aggressive cancer. No bowel/bladdersymptoms or sexual dysfunction. Bravo Dattoli!
Extreme attention to detail, technologically advanced, friendly and highly experienced staff. The best in the prostate Cancer treatment arena. A leader in the industry. Treats prostate cancer patients others don't know how to treat. Wish I had found him earlier.

Dr. Dattoli and his staff are caring, compassionate and friendly. From the front desk to the nursing staff and therapist, they make you feel at home even when you are miles away from home. Talking to other patients in the waiting room who are going through the same situation you are helped ease the nervousness I had.
