My friend was incredibly sick and had been septic only a few weeks prior to being seen by this Surgeon. She was accused of having an STI. Despite being married, having children, and having a team of MDs saying otherwise. She ended up having surgery. She had no STI. To stand over top of someone, demean them, and accuse them of contracting and STI (in front of residents) during one of the most difficult situations in their lives, is beyond disgusting. The lack of bedside manor is appalling.
