Dr Ampelas is a friendly and intellegent physician who always has a smile for me. I feel good about having him as my Medicare Advantage principal care provider (PCP). He responds personally via the super-handy BSW app to questions about medical needs, and I'm glad I got him to replace my former PCP when he retired. I do a lot of alternative healing as I have been in that field for decades, and although Dr. Ampelas is a regular allopathic doctor, he is open-minded enough to respect my choices, which is helpful and appreciated... read more
Dr. Ampelas has been my PCP for a decade. He appreciates informed patients and respects them. He's courteous and empathetic. I'd recommend him, and have, to anybody seeking an excellent doctor.
Had a smart-butt, sarcastic attitude when explaining conditions. Needs better communication skills. I don't think I would recommend him.
