Dr. Michael Castro is an excellent Internal Medicine specialist. He takes care of my Health x 21yrs. So far so good. He cares about his patients, very knowledgeable & professional. His staff is very attentive & professional too. It's a busy practice because they provide excellent care to their patients.
If I could give this Dr's office 0 stars I obviously would. You would understand if you've ever stepped foot in their office on 59th and union. The receptionist Debbie goes out of her way to make you feel uncomfortable. And the amount of Dr's they've gone through is crazy. Every time I've called the Dr I had seen no longer works there and had quit so I have to be reimbursed my co pay the last 4 visits. Which is a HUGE waste of everyone involves time. This inadequate doctor is a showman at best. He hides behind his residents who are actually the best thing that ever happened to his practice. He does not listen, he berates his patients, he judges falsely and he misdiagnoses things without any factual bearing. If I were you, I would find a new primary care physician because it's clear he has no idea what he is doing.
