After an infected hip replacement (performed by a surgeon in another office) Dr. Caravelli removed and, after extensive antibiotic tx, installed a new joint. He described a challenging removal of extensive scar tissue from previous surgeries, and the joint is now more comfortable and functional than the other hip subjected to only one surgery. Dr. Caravellis has a pleasant and engaging personality and is, overall, a great doctor.
Bilateral total knee replacement. Back on my bike after 7 weeks. Could not be more pleased.
Dr. Caravelli was my second opinion and I am grateful he was! He delivered forthright patient education, he had a warm bedside manner, and I left his office with a game plan. Great Doctor!
