1st visit and the staff and Dr.Caldwell were nice and made me feel comfortable. Two thumbs up we need more people like this in the medical field.
Dr Barnie is the most compassion doctor I have ever met, He takes time to talk with you. Was diagnosed with diabetes and he gave me the option to try a diet instead of pushing medication..That has improved my overall health, lost 46 pounds, walking 5 miles at the age 77. Everyone there are very pleasant.
The care is good when I go… but dang, when you call it’s never “Goodmorning, Michael Brooks Family Clinic. May you hold please”.. its always “can you hold” and instantly gets off the phone. Michael Brooks sir, you need to teach your receptionist customer service cause now I think they have an attitude and I have to match they energy. Thank you.
I went with a friend to have her tested for Hep. A due to the recall on Great Value frozen fruit. Since they weren't her PCP, they refused service. She has Humana & expected to pay the non-PCP $45 co-pay. They finally agreed to see her, but demanded $75 instead. She reported them to Humana & was told this shouldn't have happened. Over charge the patient & still bill the insurance? Sounds crooked to me.
