I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with Dr. Michael Gerhardt regarding what was supposed to be a straightforward meniscus surgery. During the procedure part of the surgical equipment broke off and was left inside my knee. This is a serious error that has caused ongoing pain and complications. I had a small labral hip tear and doctor Gerhardt was incredibly kind and patient when I had my cortisone shot. He is so knowledgeable and his staff was amazing! Highly recommend.
Had a hip replacement. Everything went amazing. He is an amazing doctor. Knows his job really well. Hospital staff has been incredible. Everything is going very well.
UPDATE (1/4/2024): I see that some automated response was added to this review, seemingly suggesting that either Dr. Gerhardt or Cedars genuinely cares and wants to discuss this with me. Laughable. Nobody has attempted to contact me because they simply don't care. My life has been forever changed by this experience. But that apparently doesn't concern Dr. Gerhardt enough to do anything other than funnel me to his quack chiropractor friend so he can get his kick-back.
