I went to Annie for a haircut and I genuinely can’t recommend her enough. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel comfortable and really took the time to listen during the consultation. She paid attention to every detail of what I wanted and made sure she understood the look I was going for before even starting. I was a client of Annie Nguyen while she was in school and it only felt right to follow her to Michael Anthony Salon. That feeling of finding a stylist that just gets you and your hair is so hard to find as someone with super thick and coarse hair, but Annie always makes me feel and look better leaving her chair. I’ve tried several different hair stylists since returning to the Bay Area but hadn’t found one I liked until Ayumi. The previous stylist I went to gave me a haircut that was poorly layered and texturized.
