Seven years ago we were traveling from Georgia through Danbury and found Michael Angelo’s. The owner spoke to us as he prepared our meal and was very nice. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a Chef’s salad. The whole family was blown away. We continue to make our salads at home the same way to this day. Best NY style pizza in Danbury. Staff is friendly and courteous and food is always prepared quickly.
I’ve been coming to Michael Angelo’s Pizzeria since the mid-80s when they opened. It is hands down the best NY style pizza in the area. Everything on the menu is great and I also recommend the calzones especially the one with breaded chicken along with an extra side of sauce. The Owner Michael & his son Anthony are wonderful people that you can talk to for hours. They also own Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop in Newtown, CT if you’re looking for some delectable desserts.
