I came to this doctor by referral from a few people I was going 12 weeks at the time I just recently left came in tried to speak with doctor amaro of course that got denied so I requested my medical records ( $25 ) fee by the way to do so . On top of that nurse brandy took down some notes on something I stated confidential and put it on paper . I had to get 2 very large cysts removed from my ovaries and this"doctor" was falling asleep on his desk while scheduling my surgery. He didnt even evaluate me, He took the paper work i had from an ER clinic and asked me to go downstairs for an ultrasound and to schedule surgery. I literally went to the exam room sat there for 2 min, to wait for him, then took 1 minute in his office, He asked me to do all this while he was falling asleep. literally his head was going down and eyes were shutting off... The old gray haired lady at the front desk is so mean she's the reason I don't wanna go back because I have to deal with her. No thank you I'll just take my business elsewhere.
Dr. Amaro and his staff were more than anything I could have asked for during my recent pregnancy and birth of my little girl. I had complications from the start of my pregnancy and had to have a c-section at the end due to more complications. I could not have been in better hands, and would recommend Dr. Amaro and his Nurse Practitioner, Brandy Guidroz, to anyone I meet.
