Dr. Alvarado is a doctor who touched my life with his kindness and passion for delivering exceptional patient care. He is a brilliant surgeon that provides the highest quality of care with his empathetic nature in addition to his knowledge, love of his profession and calm demeanor. Dr. Alvarado always made me feel safe and secure. His bed side manners are outstanding. My surgery resulted in an amazing outcome.

Unfortunately, even though he might be a good a good surgeon with a nice demeanor, he is not good with follow ups at all. Even if you get to see him, he won't be proactively about helping you further, if you really needed. After a few attempts, months passed and I had to seek someone else to discover a life threatening condition (on previous surgical site).
Dr. Alvarado has a wonderful bedside manner and is extremely knowledgable about his profession. I had several conversations with him preceding my double mastectomy last month and he never made me feel rushed or that my questions were not important. He took the time to answer all my concerns and made me feel at ease. I never felt pressured into any decision about my surgery/reconstruction but rather like he was presenting me with the facts and that whatever decision I went with he would support me 100%. Highly recommend.
He has a great bedside manner & made me feel at ease about my upcoming surgery. I feel like I’m in good hands.
