Simplest way to put it, I dont believe they're good at understanding the client/achiving their needs. I went in with long hair, it reached the bottom of my lower back. I asked for butterfly cut, or just good amount of layers to frame my face. I was told 1. Butterfly cut doesn't work for long hair 2. My hair in the front wasn't even and would need to wait to have the long layered look. Recently had such a great experience with stylist Vickie! I booked through Groupon and was nervous I’d be treated differently but Vickie was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and kind. My hair came out beautiful and I will be returning !

Got my hair cut here for the first time about a month ago. I have been growing out my hair and said I wanted to keep the length, with angles in the front that fit into a ponytail. I left with choppy layers, including ones in the front of my face that are too short to be pulled back. And she did not cut the bottom of my hair. I saw Vickie Villante for a colour correct/tone/low lights and was so happy! Vickie really reassured me and made me feel so comfortable and explained what was going on with the colour of my hair and what she was going to do to fix. It's tough going somewhere new for your hair and trusting they'll fix it, but she made the whole experience incredible and I couldn't be happier!!!

Highly recommend Vicki at Michael Albor Salon back bay! I am very picky about who I let do my color and Vicki absolutely nails it every single time. Whether your are looking to do a balayage or highlights, I have done both with Vicki and she always takes the time to help me achieve the exact colour/shade I am going for!! She is also the absolute sweetest - always have the best experience.
