Dr. Leonard recommended ACDF surgery. The whole process was very easy with minimal discomfort. Dr. Leonard explained the procedure clearly and was patient while I asked more questions. I never felt rushed or disrespected. His office staff are all friendly and address you by your name as if you have been to the office many times.
Informative, supportive, caring, knows and understand your health concerns about the surgery and addresses them completely.
The front desk staff and the behavioral therapist Carla are amazing. Definitely recommend this place :)
Besides being an excellent sugeon, Dr. Leonard and his staff are kind, well trained, and professional. I had surgery for a ruptured disc (not herniated) and the pain BEFORE THE SURGERY was excruciating & almost unbearable. AFTER THE SURGERY, I felt like I had my life back because most of the spine pain was gone (although my back was very weak). I was experiencing extreme lower back pain. Dr Leonard had helped me in the past with a neck issue so there was no doubt as to whom I wanted to help me now. Once we got past the required pain management effort he was quick to lay out a plan for the needed surgery. I am now pain free and looking forward to regaining strength and mobility.
I saw Dr. Leonard on 15 February 23. After my office visit I was told by him and the staff that they would write a referral for me to see a Neurologist. And that they would be contacting me with the referral information. As of today I have not heard or received any information or confirmation about a referral from them. Absolutely yes! Dr. Leonard is a no nonsense neurosurgeon who performed back surgery on me after a car accident. He explained the details of the surgery in a way that I could understand, pre and post surgery. I trusted him on my first visit and knew that I wanted him to be my surgeon. His staff is so friendly and were always prepared for my visits. They prepared me for the surgery and made sure I understood what was going to happen and what I needed to do before and after surgery. Dr Leonard performed a lower back laminectomy and I had instant relief! Whitney is an "All-Star"! She handled everything like a Pro. I had an MRI on Thurs morning and I was in the docs office on Fri and the surgery was on the next Tues. I went in Tues morn and was home by lunchtime on the same day! Ashley, PA is wonderful and very helpful during the surgery and during follow up. All the staff is on top of it! Doc is a "world-class intergalactic" surgeon!
