Be cautious - My Brother in Law's procedure went sideways fast. We were told a non-cancerous low grade tumor that turned out to be a GBM, we asked the Surgeon day after surgery if he thought it was cancer how bad it was he said he still thought it was a Low Grade non cancer tumor-- We read his post op note only to find out he knew in Surgery it was high grade and cancer just didn't tell us till Pathology came back weeks later- by the time we got him to Portland to a Cancer Neuro Surgeon it was too late and he died 2 months a... read more

Dr Cohen literally saved my life with an emergency surgery July 2024 . Afterwards he was helpful in answering questions and had a gracious bedside manner . 5 Stars + We are fortunate to have him here in NorthCentral Maine !
Dr. Cohen did 2 of my surgeries. My first surgery, after a year with not walking straight and being such pain and burning, he fixed my sciatica, woke up with no nerve pain. My 2nd surgery he fused my by back. He explains things in detail. And very concern with the risks and the questions you ask and how you feel. Like everyone else, I've recommended and will keep telling others about Dr. Cohen. Thank you for taking care of me and continue care.
My life changed 5/29/22. I was in a motorcycle accident and Dr. Cohen was the doctor who fused my neck and stabilized my spine. Even though there wasn't much hope, he was willing to try. On 9/16/22 I "walked" out of the hospital. I can never thank him enough for what he did for me!
