I called today looking for an appointment. None available, but was offered a return call and assessment by a nurse. I received a call back in 45 minutes. The nurse was attentive and helpful. She listened to all concerns and offered an appointment-the next day. She listened and offered suggestions which were very welcome.

We have been going to this practice for over 8 years and I like the doctors but the front office staff are horrible. There have been numerous occasions that I have been put on hold for 30 minutes or more only to have the phone call eventually hung up. You can never get a same day sick visit they do not return phone calls within 24 hours and they are starting to run their practice based off quantity no longer worried about quality. They are going to lose business if they continue this way
Dr. Barksy is awesome. He's always interested in my health and seems to be able to ask the right questions to get to the bottom of things quickly. PA Kim Tupper is great too. The wait times are fabulous. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a few minutes. It's a busy office, so I could see how things could get out of control, but that has never been my experience. I highly recommend Dr. Barkasy.

I moved to Dr. Barkasy's practice after an unfortunate experience with Family Medicine Specialists, and have been very happy with the practice's services. I have three teen kids, and they're all quite comfortable with the staff and with Dr. B, even my very shy 14 y.o. daughter. I work in the healthcare industry and am quite good at picking out talented, organized professionals and highly recommend this group's services.
I like Dr. Barkasy and Dr. Duran personally, they seem like good people and doctors, but the way they run there office, not so good. It can be difficult to get a same day sick appt., If you leave a message on there answering machine, about a referral or lab result, I sometimes do not get a return call unless I call a second time. Probably staff needs better customer service training.
