Micca is an outstanding nurse practitioner! She is compassionate and takes the time to listen to her patients. Micca is very knowledgeable in her field, and it is evident that she truly wants to help others and find solutions. She has gone above and beyond to help me, and I couldn’t ask for a better PCP. Furthermore, her staff are equally compassionate, especially sweet Tammy.
I previously shared this experience, but it was removed, so I’m posting again. I had surgery scheduled due to pre-cancerous tissue, and it was urgent to have it before Christmas. Despite weeks of advance requests, they sent the paperwork last minute on a Friday—incorrectly. I believe they acted with disregard for my situation, despite the risk of needing chemo or worse. I have known Micca since she started at BFPA in 2013 and have had the honor of being a patient many times throughout her years. You will not find a more thorough, caring person. Besides the fact the she’s not an MD, they go to school for just as long and I trust her with my life, she sits with you and listens to every complaint or illness with the ultimate empathy and compassion.
