I went in for a mammogram and forgot my form. They got my form from my doctor, did the screening test then asked me to stay for another mammogram and an ultra sound. The doctor came in and told me I have breast cancer. They got me an appointment for a biopsy right away and the whole time they were all so nice and made me feel comfortable. I'm headed for a hard road ahead but I will always be grateful for how thorough and nice they were.
I have visited this clinic a few times now, and keep returning after being seen at other clinics. The ladies here are highly trained, and cause so much less pain than other clinics I’ve been to. I was called back for a repeat mammogram and U/S and because of my high risk, I was terrified. Every person I dealt with was professional, kind, informative, and reassuring. The lady that did my exam was very polite,informative and respectful. The wait time was not horrible.
Went to the Sturgeon Women's Centre location for MIC to have a breast ultrasound.Jessica did my exam ,she was gentle and yet very thorough. I had been nervous about the exam because I had been left in tears at how rough the examiner was the year previously at a different MIC location. I needed a booking for a Friday, so I traveled quite far to use this location because they were able to accommodate me on a Friday. Jessica did an excellent job and was kind and friendly. I highly recommend her!
