First time eating at 225 South. I have Celiac Disease newly diagnosed about 6 months ago so I haven't really been eating out much for fear of getting very sick from cross contamination. I met Tom White Sr. at the winter farmers market and after talking with him about 225 I decided to try it out. As a celiac the fact that Chef Tomas has taken the time to get certified with the Celiac Foundation as well as his kitchen means the world to me! Poor service when they made an error. Lack of sincerity or offer for service recovery
We have been there weekly since they opened and have had great food and great service. I agree one night of questionable service but admittedly good food and they won't go back??
Just fabulous all around!! Very authentic--even the olive oil and balsamic dressing seem like they came from Italy!
This place is amazing! The service is fantastic and the bartender makes really great drinks!!
I have one big problem.... I can't decide if I like the basil aioli or the red pepper aioli better. I guess I'll have to get both.
Went last night (Friday, Dec. 10th) about 6:45 PM. Atmosphere great-love the decor. Food: Smoky fried cheese sticks were good if a little underdone. My chicken fettuccine was delicious, husband did not care for his meatball flat bread special too much. The one roll we received was cold (what is up with cold bread anyway?) and the sauce it came with tasted way too much of vinegar. $2.50 if you want an extra roll too? Please.
