Brought my 5 year old son in for a possible broken leg. Waited a while before we were finally seen, they did not have any rooms available at the time and provided us a bed in the corner. Asked for some pain meds for my son, which never came, and by the time the doctor finally came around to examine him, we were told they couldn't accept our insurance. So we ended up leaving and taking him to Dayton Childrens instead. Which within an hour they were able to give pain meds, and take radiographs. Over all it was a terrible exper... read more
Took our son in to get his leg looked at since he got hurt on the trampoline. They checked us in then told us they didn't take the insurance ( i have an open access plan). Told us the estimate was $1000 dollars and they did nothing for him. Then they wanted to question us like we weren't going to take him to a hospital that does take our insurance. Stefanie Slouffman, DO was one of the most inconsiderate and arrogant provider I have ever seen. Friday morning I came into the ER with intense abdominal issues, and when I explained my symptoms (thinking it was a reproductive issue that I’ve had for 8+ years), her response was “why would you think that?” and “go get a new OBGYN then” . The way I was treated made me feel as if I was an inconvenience to her. When my scans came back normal, she spoke to me as if I had come in just for the heck of it.
