Creepy and conformist – I went to Miami for my undergrad, and I agree with sparklingchaos..I have never experienced such a conformist, homogenous atmosphere as Miami U. Stepford College – I agree with sluggur1 that Miami is an idyllic campus if you're looking for an eerie place where everyone looks the same. They are known for "keeping up appearances" which can limit the number of minorities who attend. Miami is beautiful if what you're looking for is a sort of cookie cutter type place and you're comfortable with a very high school atmosphere. College as it Should Be! – Miami lies in Oxford, about 45 minutes north of Cincinnati. It's idyllic campus looks the way college should be. It's good for a stroll, and is particularly beautiful in the fall. The student body itself is a sight for sore eyes. Miami is known for "keeping up appearances." Oxford itself can be slow, but it has the feel of Bedford Falls from the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life." While in Oxford, take a 15 minute drive up the road to visit Hueston Woods State Park.
