Please reconsider signing a lease at the Miami Preserve. There are hidden fees everywhere and the quality of the living facilities are on par with the cheap base rent prices, which of course is not what you end up paying at the beginning of every month. Please save yourself the trouble of attempting to move in early as well, as I have been charged upwards of $800 in additional costs. All in all, avoid the Preserve like the plague. It’s been a year since I’ve lived in Preserve and it has been good so far. I chose to live here as it’s close by MiamiU which is pretty convenient. With having access to a great pool and a lively clubhouse space, Preserve gives off a homely vibe. The staff members are attentive and always ready to help when needed. I love it here! It’s my second home far away from home.
Overall this is a nice place to live, especially with the pool and staff. I just have to say that I have had several unreasonable experiences with the fees at this complex. They are sneaky and not communicated clearly with the residents. And once you are charged, they are completely unwilling to change. One example I had was when I added a parking pass to my lease. They stated that this was “addendum” to my lease, but failed to communicate with me that this was unable to be changed if I ever stopped bringing my car (which I ... read more
The staff is responsive and friendly, and the property is well-kept, quiet, and safe. I also appreciate how close it is to uptown, shopping, and restaurants. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and hassle-free experience—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good apartment in the area!
