Horrible experience. I had an appointment and still spent over an hour waiting. I even asked twice if I had been missed — only the second time, and with visible annoyance, did a clerk finally check, discover there was an issue, and send me to someone else. After another 10 minutes I was finally accepted. When my license was printed, it came out wrong. They had to reprint it, which added another 30 minutes because their printer malfunctioned. "It is what it is" is the new response you're going to get when you call the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector's Department when you trying to get an explanation for an extra charge on your license plate renewal. Where empathy was lost. This is a disaster.
