Mia is a gifted acupuncturist who has helped me with my trigger points and myofascial pain syndrome (MPS). Her knowledge of muscular anatomy is keen and helps her succeed in this context. Her bedside manner is more than sufficient for the role. Recently (last week) she delivered a real breakthrough regarding my tense upper rhomboids, and this has really buoyed me! Very few people (only one other in the Bay Area) can match her skills. In sum, she is brilliant physical medicine practitioner and a very nice person as well.

Thank you Mia!! I came to Mia for a very sore right hip and low back that radiated down my leg. I was so uncomfortable, I was having trouble sleeping, driving, or finding any comfortable position at all. After my first treatment I was 70% better. What a relief! Mia specializes in pain and she knew exactly which muscles were affected and how to get them to release. I highly recommend Mia Stableford for acupuncture! I have a desk job and work in front of a computer for 8 hours or more a day, which can really put a strain on my body. Even despite having a good ergonomic setup and body mechanic awareness, I still get aches in pains in my arms, neck and shoulders, which Mia has been able to resolve with each visit. Mia is an incredible acupuncture technician who has healed me many times over for various ailments, and has really helped me with an old injury to my knee. She has also started to do micro-needling and I saw an improvement in my overall skin texture and fine lines. I highly recommend her for any and all of her services!!

When I moved from San Diego to San Francisco, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find an acupuncturist that I would like as much as my lady in SD. I could not have been more wrong and I am so glad because Mia is amazing. I see Mia for migraine prevention, I have an extremely tight neck and shoulders which constantly need TLC including stretching, massage and acupuncture.
