New Owners! Great service, food, and live music! – I have been going to Mia Roma for years and experienced each Owner. Now you must go and enjoy the great food or take your kids in for pizza and make it a family event. Or, if you just want to go and listen to some live music after a wonderful dinner than this is your place! There is karaoke and live music on the weekends so I would suggest stopping in and welcome the new Owners to Kenmore and have fun while your there!
Great value for family dining. – I was looking over some of the other reviews and I've got to say that I'm confused. My family and I have been eating here for years and with precious few exceptions the service has always been excellent and the food is all kinds of tasty. I usually order the chicken parmigiana, which is fantastic, the wife and kids are all over the menu. I've sampled just about everything with no complaints (except for the calamari appetizer). Aside from the friendly service the best part about this place is ... read more
do not eat here! – We were one of two people seated in the bar and it was nearly imposible to get a drink we had to conitnue asking for service instead of getting asked if we needed anything. We ordered two apetizers and realistically I could have cooked much better from home! I ordered the veal....It was horrible way chewy and I honestly do not think it was veal. My husband ordered the michelangelo pasta it was undercooked and tasted like it was all pre-frozen. All in all you could go to any other Italian restaurant and get... read more
Great for group meetings – I have become familiar with Mia Roma's through club meetings that meet there. The food has been quite good, although I don't have enough history to discern a trend since prior owners left. I've found that my kids love sharing a pizza there, and the appetizers and salads are enough to feed me relatively affordably. I'm impressed that the staff will split up the bill across different parties without quibbling.
When reading these reviews keep in mind the date they were written. My husband and I go to the Mia Roma because they on occasion have a two for one coupon. We would never go there and pay full price. The last time I was there it was as cold inside as it was outside and like the other poster stated no hot water in the rest room The food has really gone downhill and usually we are the only ones there.
Not Recommended – The men's room has no hot or warm water and I observed a kitchen staff member exit a stall and try to wash with cold tap water. 12 hours after dining there I had intestinal cramps and severe bowel movements. The minestrone soup was watered down and had a greasy aftertaste, The booth seat springs are sagging and offer a poor seating experience. This place used to be OK, now it is pathetic and possibly a health risk.
Cozy and good! – My husband and I love this place! It has the atmosphere of an classic style Italian restaurant...I imagine Dean Martin and friends sitting in a corner booth. The service is warm, the wine glasses are full, and the food is delicious. We are never disapointed and go there when we want a great dinner and cozy ambience. Try the eggplant parmigan- it's my favorite, and the lasagna is great, too. I hope this place doesn't change, we love the black seated booths, although new springs in a few wouldn't be a bad chan... read more
Has gone progressively downhill since Teo sold it – This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant. The tortellini alla panna and linguini with clams were my favorite, along with the fresh bread. Several years ago, the restaurant was sold. For a while, the food was delicious, but I started to notice that the staff didnt seem as well trained. Tell me why the response to "Thank you" from a customer is "No problem" instead of "You're welcome." We have been disappointed in our last few meals. The sauces have gone from flavorful ... read more
I LOVE Mia Roma – I have to say, when I first moved to Bothell we were hard pressed to find any great restaurants. Then we discovered Mia Roma. We have never, not once, been disappointed by the food or service. It's top-rate dining, with friendly and enthusiastic waitresses. When we got engaged last year, we actually went there to share it with our favorite waitress, who bought us a glass of wine.
Mia Roma has a 3.5 star rating with 14 reviews.
