This is the second time I've tried this pizza spot. The first time they were at or near the same location but in a trailer or something similar. I had the soppressata and added Italian sausage. The pizza was salty for me. The fresh basil was a nice touch and kind of balanced out the saltiness but there was just a small amount of basil. The bottom crust is too thin. There were a few air pockets but mostly it was pretty flat. Overall a pretty uninspiring pizza.
Celebrated my 29th birthday here. Had space for all 17 guests. It is close to the highway but the outdoor experience is laid back and fun. Owners and staff were very friendly. They closed at 9:30pm but let's us stay late and play music to enjoy the moment. The pizza by the way is delicious and reasonably priced, the BYOB made it even better. Even made exceptions for my girlfriend who has dairy allergies. Would recommend 10/10! Don't sleep on this place I used to work at a pizza joint, and this spot is the real deal!
This is the best pizza I've had in my life. There is a correct balance of sauce, cheese & toppings. The deal maker is the crust is a perfect crispness that provides a great bite everytime. That said, it is best to eat pizza there are the heat from the box will soften the crust. Dinning there is al fresco as there is no interior dinning room yet but they do have a building they are working on to provide this in the future. The staff is friendly & attentive to your needs.
Simply amazing Pizza here. I’m just visiting San Antonio area but nothing compares in my experience. A hidden gem!! Thank you Mr. Joey for your kindness and hospitality!
