I have a new build that is barely 2 years old. This patio glass door popped on its own. I called the builder and the manufacturer, there is no warranty for the cheaply made patio sliding door. I am extremely disappointed this happened and glad no child was nearby when this incident happened. Ever since I have lived in different homes, I am yet to see a sliding glass door popped and cracked in this manner and the manufacturer denies that they shouldn’t do anything about this. Extremely Disappointed – Avoid if You Expect Fairness I’m incredibly disappointed in how MI Windows & Doors LLC handled my warranty request. I purchased my home in September 2024, and all of the windows had been newly installed by MI in 2018. The original homeowner had passed away, and his wife and children—who sold me the house—told me the windows were under warranty.
