I usually post positive reviews but today is an exception. I was in the process to file a warranty claim, and they asked to provide photos. They provide a response that it is normal to have air draft as windows have air filtration. Keep in mind what I am experiencing is not normal air filtration, it is extreme cold air coming through from multiple spots. Two rooms with the faulty windows are extremely cold and I have increase the heat much more than usual - which does not even help make it warmer and leaves me with higher bi... read more
Listen man. I don’t try to give people bad reviews and i’m sure whoever it is was trying but I have to vent. I submitted a warranty claim for my patio door that resulted in the customer service person sending me a replacement door gratas (I had to pay for shipping) no problem if this was the end of the ticket you guys would get a 5 star rating. I got the door and it was the wrong side of the door. Okay everybody makes mistakes so I call and they apologize and agree to ship a new door without me paying shipping. We still at 4... read more
Worst window company EVER !!! Don’t want to give even 1 star ,( have to submit at least 1 star to make a post) Wish I could give a negative star! It has been almost 2 years to get our Sunrise windows covered under warranty ( which have a lifetime warranty )taken care of by MI. MI bought out Sunrise and took over their warranty, but they do not hold their word or warranty. It’s always a different story when our authorized dealer or myself call for updates . If I could give zero stars I could. We would never choose to have MI windows installed (lennar built house so had no choice). I have a sliding door that has a break in the seal and MI will not send a technician out to look at the sliding door and evaluate the issue and find a solution. We have offered to pay to have a tech out but MI refuses. Absolutely ridiculous. We will eventually replace all MI windows and doors with a trusted brand who actually offers customer service and not 20 email responses saying that can’t do anyt... read more
I recently purchased a home and the previous owner left documentation for their window purchase and warranty information. We noticed some of the windows have broken seals so I just reached out to the company to see about transferring the warranty to my name and I was told its past the 60 day window to transfer the warranty after the home was sold.
