Nestled in a little shopping strip with a coffee/cannabis place and a donut shop lies the all unassuming and quaint Mexican restaurant, Mi Tierra. Visiting from Texas and more so, growing up in El Paso, I was not expecting much from any so-called Mexican food joint, especially one located in the north eastern part of Kansas, but I was pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed with the fare. Taco Bell and Del Taco are much better and actually have spicy salsa. Our waitress had a poor attitude and got our order half wrong and then proceeded to argue with me! Actually left hungry and grateful there was an Italian restaurant within walking distance grabbed a salad and shared a lasagna. That's how awful this place was. Can't believe the rating they have- must all be family and friends Can't even make margaritas!
$55 for 2 dishes and a kids meal and the potions are SMALL. My husband and I were not happy with it. And we were both sweating in there which is crazy for a restaurant.
Horrible customer service! Rude! The place was completely empty and it was obvious why. Margaritas were the water with no flavor. Also, like another review said, she tried to charge us more than what the prices were and when we told her, she said, "just don't tip me." Then she tried to take a DOLLAR off and actually ADDED another dollar. She had an attitude about it so I just paid it and as we were walking off, she told her friend, "always want things for free!"
