Good food and good service We like this better than Ixtapa. The food is better and so are the prices. The service is always fast which is a plus with kids. We live in Sultan and will drive to Monroe for Mexican food because we prefer this over the restaurants in Sultan.
Great food – My first City Search review...I love Mexican food, and Mi Tierra is my go-to spot! I often come for lunch and have no problem enjoying a good meal on the lunch hour. Their lunch menu is less expensive than the main entres, so that helps the bill. If you're on the go, their boxes are sturdy foil tins, so the food seams to travel OK. If you love mexican, this is the place – OMG, this place is awesome! The service, and food you couldn't ask for anything better. Took some time for the food to get to the table (though, that might of been because we had a party of 8), but I'll tell you what, it was well worth the wait. You wont leave there hungry, that's forsure! Only draw back I see is parking, but you'll be very satisfied with everything else! Oh and the price is very reasonable too! We will be going back there again!
Excellent food in a quiet little place La Palmera has thebest Mexican food around, but when we don't feellike driving 35 minutes, we hop down to Mi Tierra. It is a quiet little restaurant that seats people on 2 floors. Their menu is extensive, but nothing too original. The meat is nicely seasoned and the offer generous helpings. User review by kim_and_jeremy – This is the best Mexican restaurant we've ever been to. So good in fact, we go atleast once a week. Their chicken fajitas are excellent, and big enough to share. The staff is great, they remember our names, and know our favorite dishes and drinks every time we come in. If you like Mexican food, especially with great flavor, this place is a must.
WONDERFUL – The word "wonderful" doesn't beging to describe how my husband and I feel about Mi Tierra's.!!! The service and food has always been great. They know what we like, ( we got here that often) and now that we have the baby, they always make a "fuss" over her. The feeling is that of family. The wait staff are quick to serve and pleasant. We love it there.
Yummy Comfort Food! – Of all the restaurants in Monroe, we patronize Mi Tierra every time (former residents)!! They wait on you very quickly and always with a friendly smile and if you're lucky enough to go there often, they just may remember you and your favorite item on the menu!
