Nice change from the other Mexican food restaurants in town. Love the Tilapia bowl. The red sauce for the enchiladas tastes like homemade chili sauce was delicious. Proportion sizes were large, so good hungry!

The food (Mexican) was excellent and of high quality. If you order appetizers they are large enough to share. We made the mistake of ordering individual meals which were also large enough the share. We called and made reservations because we were a party of 15 with only one server which was not enough. Had to ask for small plates twice because only half of us had plates. Little things went wrong. Would go back because everything was delicious.

Food was okay. Chile rellenos, tacos (Al pastor, birria, fish, vegetarian), rice would all rate a four. Steak was 3 or 3.5. Refried beans a 2, queso and ceviche a 3. Flavor of ceviche was good, but very light on fish and heavy on tomato. They also charge $3 for a little dish of salsa which would have been okay, but they made no mention it was an extra charge (I’m used to it being free). Cocktails were good. Don’t let the location fool you, this restaurant will pleasantly surprise you with their thoughtful care in every plate they serve. Let’s just say — I haven’t had better shrimp anywhere in Arizona and the fish tacos will transport you to Baja.

Mi Tesoro has become one of our Flagstaff favorites! The staff, like Sumi and Sierra are amazing. We always feel welcomed. The new queso, is so good it's addictive! It's spicy but has just the right bite. We've also enjoyed the Toritos, the Fajitas, Auguachili Ribeye and Carne Asada. They also take their cocktails seriously. My husband loves the smoked Old Fashioned. It's always a great time and definitely worth stopping by!
