I've had this place in my backlog for a while, given that it's right across from Laguna. It became apparent very quickly that they are offering something very different. We live down the street so a month or so ago we checked it out. Now we find it hard to not stop in on our way home, for a few weeks we were going 1-2 times a week. We get the Al Pastor potato skins & chips and guacamole then drinks and our entrees. Staff is friendly and the manager who’s always working is kind and funny. Always have good service and the food is always good, we’ve tried a good bit of the menu now. Stopped in here with some girlfriends for lunch yesterday for Cinco de Mayo which we had reservations for. We expect the restaurant to be packed, and we were there for an hour and a half, and only saw two other tables of people during our visit. Hopefully this restaurant got a lot more business for dinner! Our waiter was fantastic! He was very friendly and attentive and always had a smile on his face. Food was very good as well.
