I went hungry and the food was really good. Especially the iced tea. The chips nice and crunchy, salsa soooo good, not too spicy. The cheese on my cheese enchilada was more flavorful than l've gotten on most. Made it delicious. Puff tacos were light, meat was very good. I will go back.

What is your go-to menu item when you first try a restaurant? With Mexican, it's always carne guisada for me. It's the food item I use to help me gauge that restaurant, to determine if the quality is up to par and worthy of future visits. Why carne guisada? Simply, time. You cannot make a good beef stew in 30 minutes, and you shouldn't try.
