Excelent menu options – Bueautifull place, the food is great with an authentic mexican menu section with dishes like beef tounge tacos and ceviche or carnitas marinated with beer and tequila "very tasty" flan is made from scratch and white sauce for the chips is like no other restaurant its what keeps us going there

"Wow What a change!" Much Better – I've been to Mi Hacienda a few times before only because my friend liked it so much but i always thought there was room for improvement on such a beautifull restaurant so I wasnt a regular customer but that has changed. I am in there almost twise a week now I love the new menu it has all the traditional favorites and some new items like my new additction of choripollo, I have to recomend this dish to any one who visits Mi Hacienda. There is a lot of better options. – I gave this another after two years. I am familiar with both locations. When they first opened up for business, they were good. But my revisiting was horrible. They don't even have the standards some places spoil us with. Here is a list of true facts for easy reading: 1. Sweat tea is either from the fountain or instant. 2. Meat is absolutely unseasoned. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Tonight was the first time I had ever been to this place. It looked nice and SEEMED acceptable. Boy was I WRONG! We arrived at 6:05pm (it was not busy). They were quick to bring drinks but that's it. It's took almost an hour and a half to get our food, and when we DID get it, It was wrong. Great mexican food – This restaurant is located on Midlothian Tnpk. I have not been to the one on Hull St. The only negative thing I have to say is, the service is not great. It's not BAD, but not that great. Everything else, the food, the set-up, the nice decor, is wonderful. My co-workers and I frequent there for lunch time and time again. The food is always hot (so is the plate!) and we leave the restaurant will full bellies. I don't dine out much, but Mi Hacienda is my favorite mexican restaurant.

Very inconsistent! – I have been to this restaurant and gotten good service and good food for the money. I have also been there when they weren't busy yet it took forever to get a seat, the food was cold and awful, when it finally did come. It took forever to get the check. And even longer to pay. This is not acceptable on my lunch break. The last time I was there, my "black bean soup" looked like beans in water with cottage cheese on top. YUK! Service and food are too spotty. Great Mexican food – Mi Hacienda always has good food, good service and great atmosphere. Especially good for those who don't like mole sauce on everything on the menu, and for those who like a spicy ranch base dip in addition to the traditional salsa type dip. If you really want to have some fun, brush up on your Spanish and head for the attached dance club on Saturday night: Mi gusta!
