We ate here last night to celebrate what would have been our grandmothers 82nd birthday. Our grandmother sadly passed away 3 weeks ago, and Mi Cocina was one of her favorite restaurant. Last night our server, Elianna, was outstanding. Seriously, probably the best server we've ever had. Our drinks were constantly being filled, she was prompt, polite, and very attentive. This is a great restaurant with yummy food and yummy drinks. The wait staff always seems friendly and helpful. But let's be real. The main reason I go to Mico is for the mambo taxis. Two of these swirl margaritas is all it takes and you'll need to ride shotgun on the way home. The only bad thing about this place is that it closes at 9pm. That's just too early. They should at least keep the bar open until later. Beyond that, no complaints.

Me and my husband have always loved Mi cocinas, but we usually went to the one in Plano. Well, about 6 months ago we went to the one in Rockwall and was lucky enough to get Timothy as our server. We love his service so much and that location that we now go like every other Friday and ask for his section! Jose the manager also visits our table every time to say hello.
