If you break down in El paso, go to Peterbuilt for repairs if you value your time and money, especially if it’s warranty work! MHC service writers will lie to you, & then lie some more! Then when all is said & done, overcharge you for work by double dipping hours to make up for their loss on warranty work! My Eaton transmission went out while under warranty. ook my truck into MHC Kenworth in Knoxville, I let them know that the splines on the blend doors were bad and I wasn't getting any heat. I have waited three days for them to just look at it and get an estimate. I was told they spent 7 hours @ $202 per hour to find the problem. It was the blend door splines. So now they want over $7500 to replace the doors claiming it takes 30 hours to remove and replace. If this is a common issue with Kenworth why don't they offer a fix/repair that is covered because it is a poor design flaw... read more

This place is a total rip off, the service department are con artist and I have had my truck in this shop in and out for the past 5 months for repairs that seem to never get fixed I have 8 different invoices for the same issues. And when I asked management about why am I’m paying for another invoice when I just paid an invoice for $14000 and you never even corrected the issue he then conjured up another reason why it wasn’t completed. As we all know having your truck in the shop is an extremely stressful situation especially if it takes longer than expected!!! Chris Davis the service department was very helpful and sympathetic to our frustrations and was very patient with the million questions we asked and always tried to find the most accurate answer. Then our technician Ben was working on our truck is an amazing mechanic!!! I will be sure to ask for him again next time!!!!

Working with Andrew Marsh was nothing but a complete pleasure. He helped me pick the right chassis and then located a second identical sister chassis for me. Dealt with the dump body build out A-to-Z and personally made sure the trucks were delivered to me on time across the country. Very professional outfit

I had an issue with my turbo system, I took it Kenworth MHC Pueblo a couple months ago, they charged me 2300 dollars and could not find any problem, after that it continued to deteriorate, so it was recommended I take it to Cummins of Rocky mountains in Denver by my leasing company, they diagnosed and fixed it in 2 days, and had to replace my actuator and the turbo, they were both bad, and it was covered under my warranty, but Kenworth could NOT figure it out. This place is a ripoff, they rob you in your face, they charge you more for the job than their self expected for do the job, I read and spoke with some coworkers that used to work over there and they told me the rob the costumers charging them more for the job than it really cost. They are not honest at all, run away from this place they will steal you mercilessly.
