Just purchased a really nice 1999 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L V8 and a 5-speed transmission from Pete Fotops at MGM classics. I’ve been looking for one with a manual transmission for a couple of years. I flew out from Arizona, finalized the payment & then drove it home. Update 6/13- (pics and report provided) took to shop and found the header has been bashed touching an electrical wire to the point of melting the power steering pump. Wrong engine mounts used, wrong headers used. PICTURES DON’T LIE!! Update 5/20- got under car found small oil leak, and several very obvious exhaust leaks from shoddy welding of pipes. RUN!!
