Bunk site. Gone political and now just spews obvious lies when there is no need to.
I would give 5 stars, the quality is great well made similar to a M4, the only hang up I have is it struggled to fire common 7.62x39 steel ammo. But it does fire brass ammo just fine, planning on buying more conversion kits in the future and the enhanced bolt carrier if it will solve this problem.

I will not follow, support or buy from a company that shares videos from isis, although you may feel the same of isis, sharing their videos only helps them achieve their goals. Stop supporting them and ignore their crap
My experience with the MGI hydra has been flusterating to say the least, It is a solid design BUT the quality control is crap. I've sent it back once because it wouldn't except the mag they said it would. Now I need to spend another $125 on a "enhanced bolt" to fire the most common 7.62 ammo, tulammo. Also the cam key is permanently stuck in bolt blocked by the carrier key , so my avise is don't buy t unless you enjoy tinkeeing.
I really like this page and I really enjoy my hydra, it is a solid gun all around and seems well thought out and built. It's very easy to change caliber and is very smooth. I would(and have) definitely recommend it to friends looking for a quality rifle. the only downside if you can even call it that is that the factory trigger leaves something to be desired but that is fairly common and not a big issue to fix.
1 SBR rifle with many many different cals. Great gun.
