I ordered Mezeh for the first time on DoorDash. It was all tasty, OMG your pita chips are AMAZING. I enjoyed my chicken bowl quite a bit especially the crunchy chickpeas It was all great. The falafel was also excellent, I was unsure when I ripped one in half because of the color, it’s quite green, but it was so delicious. The worst staff I’ve ever seen. Very rude and the portions were so little. I spend more on here than chipotle and for the money chipotle gives better portions. When confronted about the little portions they just stare at you rudely and tell you that they “have to give the correct portions” even though they gave their friend more portions because they were Hispanic. Worst Mezeh I’ve seen in VA!!! I’ve been to mezeh thousands of times and this location was so bad that I had to leave a review. Absolutely terrible and disgusting staff. When two other people got what seemed to be normal servings I got placed TWO PIECES of chicken and the guy said “we have to do the correct portions.” I then asked for extra and then my portions looked the same as the guy that didn’t take extra. Large verity of healthy food
Ordered and sat down for lunch. Looked over and saw a huge dead roach in the middle of the floor near the check out. We pointed it out to the manager. A worker came and kicked the dead roach back towards into the kitchen. We mentioned that it's disgusting to do so. As we were leaving, we found another huge dead roach in the middle of the floor. If it's this carelessly unsanitary inside of the restaurant, I honestly don't want to see the kitchen.
