I had a storage unit that leaked. I reported it and they said it wasn’t. I went back after it rained again and I had puddles and reported it again. They moved my stuff to another unit without telling me and all of the stuff I had sorted and moved in my unit was now buried and in the back. Things were damaged. Boxes are so high that I cannot reach them. I have a horrible spider infestation so I have been bombing so that I could get through this stuff. (Huge spider phobia and these are not tiny!) First time hiring movers for my cross town move. They were AWESOME, fast, courteous, and professional. I would use them again!
I was extremely upset recently when I found that Meyers held a check for $420.00 I wrote on Nov. 21 until Jan 7. According to tax/business law, money received in one year must be recognized in that same year. Do we have an IRS violation here? I sure think so! I won't do this type payment again. I will force the recognition by making an electronic funds transfer.
