Meyers Castle Meyer's Castle gets nothing short of an A+ on my personal report card. I had my wedding reception there. Please note: I consider myself a rather picky, high maintenance, perfectionist. Meyer's was able to swing anything I threw at them. My reception had elaborate hanging decor, velvety blue table cloths (all to match my theme of "stars")...I even had a lit, intricately engraved, ice sculpture/luge out on the patio bar!

I have been going to Meyer's Castle since it opened nearly 8 years ago and have always had a wonderful experience. Once in awhile it is nice to take the drive into Chicago, but other days, you just want a good meal in a convenient location. The Castle is that. Wonderful steaks served on swords, and an excellent ala carte menu make this one of my favorites!
Wedding Woes My wedding was made possible by the most glorious wedding coordinator ever, Mrs. Brenda Chodor. I communicated anything and everything to her...even down to my little personal wedding woes. She took me under her wing like one of her own daughters. (You can never have too much support when wedding planning!)
